God is in the business of doing his job well.
If it was up to us he would stop midstride and let us take the reins and do what we do best- mess his handiwork up.
You’ll notice as you wait on God and as you learn to trust him and his timing that something phenomenal happens- you realize that what you thought mattered was not the ultimate gift, what mattered is the journey you took with him and the fact that you know that he will be all that you need through each and every stage of life.
The bible talks about the fact that our heart is deceitfully wicked..who can know it?
We dont even understand our hearts like God does. We dont understand when we have erected idols in our hearts that we have worshiped for years above him.
And God is always seeking to know us more. He is always seeking the one thing ..our heart.
He just wants us.
So while we learn in church that we can get things from him. While we have learned so well what is passed down from generation to generation that he is a miracle worker. Weve learned that we can just get in the prayer line and our faith will provoke that money to come in the mail.
What we havent learned is to really bow our knee in worship to the only one and the ONLY thing that really matters.
God would you please deal with our hearts? Would you please let us know just how much having YOU means to us?
