What if God chose you for something that he had never chosen someone for before?
What if everything that you have ever heard preachers say doesnt relate to you because God is leading you individually.
How do you make it through?
How do you even get to yes when it doesnt come with a roadmap?
When we choose a career for college we can look online and see all the classes we are supposed to take to get there, we can see how much people are making in that career, what the schedule usually looks like, and the areas that have the best chances.
But it doesnt seem like that when we are feeling like the Lord would like us to go in a certain area. IT seems so risky. It can feel as if we literally are going to step into something that we could literally be killed lol. There is no evidence that what we believe we should do will EVER work.
It may seem like every other option is the “safer” option.
And when you have surrendered and gotten just a little bit comfortable sometimes you may start to feel a nudge that you need to come up higher and you are like –what??
God, have I not given you enough already?
and he whispers I have a bigger plan for you..
If you will only trust me..
SO if you are dealing with being so fearful of this thing called surrender I know exactly how you feel. I feel it, too. It can seem so difficult.
But I also know that living with a clenched heart and not opening it wide for him to have his way is so hard to do as well. And Id rather have a God I can trust to lead me out than to trust in something else.
