There is so much information available to us these days. I can not even count how much information has gone into my head about spiritual warfare, starting a business, relationships, prophecy…etc etc.
We have so many”professionals” , pastors, psychologists, teachers, books and social media content giving information about how things should be done in order to be wise and “safe.”
But sometimes I wonder if we have things figured out so much that we leave God out.
They may tell you never marry this type of person and then God brings them around and he prompts your heart that they are the love of your life. And yet you turn it down because it didn’t begin well how they told you it should.
They tell you that you need a man to provide for you and you meet a man who is struggled, and you say no. You never knew what he could be if he had a reason to provide.
There are few and far between focused on Gods voice even at the expense of a life that could be torn apart by following it. I said this last sentence because of how I sometimes have felt following him. I am about to step into a decade of intense blessing but to be honest I gave up great opportunities because i did not think it aligned with what I needed to do at that moment. And sometimes i followed when it felt like I could be jumping off a cliff and I could end up totally devastated.
I am not saying that you should follow this example, because there will be someone with no common sense that takes what I say and next time they are presented with a wack opportunity they will decide to take it because this blog says so . LOL I am just saying that because I am trying to give you a true reality of how it can seem. Because his ways are not his ways.
You may know down on the inside of you that you are a multimillionaire CEO, but you felt led by God to take a lower paying job and read your bible each day after work. It seems like a step down and you may have even had to deal with ridicule from others for doing what you believed in your heart was the right thing for you.
But from what I personally believe about God is he is the very best one to build the house and his plans are individual for YOU. This means he may have you go through a time of learning how to deal with your mental health and how to handle the issues of life so that later on you will have a stronger foundation to build your family and your wealth upon. It is not in vain, its just a part of the plan that he has for you.
Choosing to be a person that allows God to be the lead will not be easy. But the quicker and the ways that we go leaning on our own understanding are not always fruitful. But going the long way with God as he builds piece by piece will get you right to where you need to go.
