There was a time that I thought surrender to God was what I needed to do to gain all the good stuff. I believed that God would lead me to those green pastures and I would all be pretty like the other people I knew. There life fit together like a jigsaw puzzle, mine more like an aerobics cube.
It never made sense because what God had for me was too big and my little mind kept trying to figure it out.
There is nothing like finally surrendering and realizing that it is WAY bigger than you. This is something that you HAVE to not discern, only God knows what is about to come around the corner.
You have to surrender and surrender again each and everyday until HE Has his perfect you. You know that if you quit the spiritual warfare following you will swallow you up but if you keep going you’ll hit roadblocks but you’ll never be without victory because the spirit of the Lord is with you.
There are many in the church who have no idea what really serving the Lord is like. They dont know whats its like to be weary from battle because they never get out there and fight. And then there are those of us who are called to a battle that can only be fought through God. We have to keep our eyes peeled on the Holy Ghost and what JESUS is doing all around us so that we know where we fit. For we know that we ONLY fit where HE is.
We only fit where God is moving therefore we are seeking the cloud of where he is in order for us to walk in his ways.
God knows all and he is the only one who knows the keys to our own story, for we know without a shadow of a doubt that it was never ours anyways. ‘
So Lord have your own way and do what you wish to do. Have your way and make sure that you have your way.
Don’t let me get in the way of a life that you took over when I was a young girl.
