There are MANY especially in this day in age that have experienced so much devastation in their personal lives. Some of you guys have a really hard time believing that this place could ever be like Psalm 1 talks about –
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
That bringeth forth his fruit in his season; His leaf also shall not wither;
And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
You just think its unimaginable and even if you are out there looking, you still cant believe that something good would be what your life will someday show.
But I believe for you that your life will unfold and bit by bit a new foundation will be laid. Where there was an absolute wasteland there shall be the foundation of a solid rock, of something that when the wind comes (bc it will come) and when the rain appears it only gets stronger because God is the God of that beautiful place.
NO matter how hurt and devastated you have been. No matter how long you have waited. No matter how young you are or how old you are, this is your time.
The time for what has hurt you for so long to be turned into a blessing and for sorrow to be turned into joy.
Here is a chapter that I sat down and opened my bible to today after I was jamming on my computer worshipping the Lord and it brought me back to a place in my own life where this chapter brought hope to me.
And I hope that you will read it and realize that the same God who has done so many miracles for you before can also perform more than you could ever imagine- even in a place that has been absolutely been wrecked.
With God all things are possible…
ISAIAH 35
The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
2It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency of our God.
3Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
4Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
5Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
6Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
7And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
8And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
