Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us

Ephesians 3:20

Fear is the natural progression of the flesh. To fight back in faith can seem like it is directly contradicting what seems so natural to believe. Fear reflects current situations; faith reflects future blessings. The blessings you know are coming if you just hang on just a little while longer.

There was a time I realized that I was having a bit of a fear fiasco. I realized that I had allowed the opinions of some dear ill informed saints to get to my head. But I soon realized that I didn’t have to stay there. I could change my mentality.

I want to live in a faith realm even before I see the fruits of what I want to happen. I want to surround myself with God-thoughts, God-beliefs, and eventually God sized blessings. I want to give God the honor that is due. If I am so willing to take the devil’s side in his belief systems, if I am willing to get on his side and agree with what he says about things, then I am not being loyal to the one who has my life in his hands.

Today, I am sprinkling a little bit of faith on my situations. I am believing for huge things as if they are as tiny tiny as they are in God (My Father’s) eyes. And tomorrow I will get to see what he means when he says he does all things exceedingly and abundantly.
