It wasn’t too long ago..well I guess it was sometime during the pandemic, I was praying for a man and I asked God why he was making the decisions he was making. TO be honest, his decisions didn’t seem right. Something was off. It seemed like he felt comfortable with people that I knew were less than for his particular life. It’s like he was in a cycle and even when God was trying to get him off of it and into a place that would bring him into great blessing, he would run the other way.
I honestly can’t blame him because I know some of the things that went on during that time frame. But Still. As humans sometimes we don’t even recognize the warfare against us. Sometimes we don’t recognize demonic cycles that keep our families bound and repeating so many cycles that the enemy never wants you to break.
He doesn’t want you to marry in Gods perfect will. He doesn’t want you to enter into Gods very best. He doesn’t want you to have what others have that have families that have broken free of this demonic cycle.
Instead, he wants to influence you to take less than. He wants you to choose someone based on where you are instead of where you are going.
Anyways..back to the story. When I was asking the Lord why in the world was this young man who had everything in the world going for him, going through what he was going through. Falling for the enemy’s schemes.
I felt like what came to me was a Spirit of REJECTION and it brought me back to a time in my own life when my brokenness was too leading me.
When something other than the holy spirit is leading our thoughts actions and decisions, we can more easily be attracted to things that will repeat a cycle of pain and regret.
It takes a lot to stop a cycle.
It sometimes takes a lot of effort to sit there and deprive us of what we really want so that we can sit with God and figure out why in the world our lives keep producing chaos instead of the smooth straight road that he wants to put us on. The kind of road that produces good and wonderful fruit. Fruit that will bless you and walk with you through every stage of life. Fruit that will bless your families with more than what you need.
