Some people just keep going in life and never stop to “fix” things. They do this when they go from relationship to relationship hurting people or yourself, when they leave their families, when they can’t keep a job. There are so many different scenarios.
It is hard to stop face your self and change yourself. But that is what is needed to fix the things that childhood broke for us. You may have to fix some things in yourself that you did not cause, but in order to have a better life you have to take accountability for your own healing, even if others aren’t involved in the healing process.
Many people spend time looking at what they don’t have. They convince themselves of what they need to be happy in life instead of convincing themselves that they have all they need if they would apply themselves to learning.
Learning to live the way that your life requires in order to prosper. And that may look very different than the people around you. You may have such a unique life that you need to follow a different blueprint to get to where you need to go.
Healing comes with the price-tag of hard work, others misunderstanding you, the loss of relationships that aren’t good, the uncomfortableness of changing habits and much much more.
But what you will gain in the end is peace, love, joy and a life that becomes a well watered garden over time.
