There are many who come to Jesus and they need major and radical deliverance and that deliverance hurts. Its not always easy. Sometimes it requires a major process.
But sometimes people stop right before the “complete deliverance” happens. Or at least the work that God wanted to do. A work of way better than where they were.
But instead they looked at how far they have come, counted it as a blessing and stopped allowing God to have as much access.
They say, God that’s okay. I’m here now. I worship on Sundays. At least I’m not in the sin I used to be in. I’m okay with the demonic things that I am connected to now because it is not as bad as what was binding me before.
The problem with this mentality is God can only restore us to the level that we give him permission. To the level that we allow him to have our hearts.
Many believe that as long as they are right with the elders of the church. As long as they have spoken in tongues and can operate is some legit anointing that is enough.
They have stopped examining their hearts. They ignore his still small whispers and have decided that their choices are more important than his leading.
They are correct they can make their own choices but there are so many who have been restored in the way that God led them to be restored because they laid down their choices and their choices became what God himself wanted for their life.
Complete Surrender. In their love life. In their finances. In their families. In anything God was sating.
And God was the one that did the putting together.
And his work was more than any choice they could have ever made.
