IT is really hard to tell prophetic people not to be enamored with gifts because guess what? We were built to be so interested in those things.
But I guess that I am talking from the perspective of not being enamored with PEOPLE with those gifts but to realize that they are prone to be wrong.
When you are first starting out in the prophetic you may not know where to find what you need or what mentorship to get. You may not even want to know about your gift, youre just trying to get through life!
There is so much to learn about this area of life that you could take all your life learning and it would STILL be such a mystery. But the bible does say to pursue prophecy and to pursue the gifts and some of us had the gifts before we even knew that we had them.
Strange things would happen, we would say things and notice that it really did happen. We would look at people and know things and then it would come out we were right.
How off is that?
But how do you maneuver this when you don’t know many like you. You may be really special and not even know it. You could even be a world changer that will one day do great things. I bet you already know that within you and I bet that that you have gotten a sense that even though you are in this world you just know that one day you will live an entirely different life!
That is your prophetic gift working. You already have a sense of who you are even before you have gotten there.
