So as some of you know, I have been writing a book. Procrastinated a lot, or maybe I was just too busy to finish it as quick as I wanted, but I am glad to hopefully, finally, be wrapping it up.
This book that is coming out was inspired by my own journey toward emotional healing. I hated writing the book for some of the time because I felt that it forced me to go backwards in my mind to a place I had left behind…a place I had closed the door on in order to move forward. Now that the book is wrapping up, I am happy to finally be closing that book this time in printed format.
But what I want to talk about is finally closing the door on your old life. I have seen some people keep the door open to their old life for their whole life. They keep it cracked open just enough to take a look back and see all they have been through, get worried all over again, and stay in a self-pity cycle.
They never really make that definitive decision that I AM GOING TO MOVE FORWARD. I am going to move forward no matter how much my heart longs to live in the past. I am going to move forward no matter if I have to leave some people behind that I wanted to take with me to victory.
They don’t make a decision that they will have a better life. Let me tell you something about life. I have noticed, that when people start moving in the right direction, things start falling in place eventually. If the direction that is being walked is really for that person, they will receive all the provision they need to complete the journey they are on.
