There are many in this season that have been hanging on so long to words that are derailing their lives. The past several years have been some of the most interesting years I have had prophetically and in many ways these words have trained me and helped me to understand people and how they respond to the leading of God.
I have seen several people who I consider to be people that have not listened to the words that God gave them when they were praying for God to guide them. I watched people proclaim with their mouths that they wanted God to intervene but when he told them what the answer was they thought that they should do something contrary to that and so they are even now walking a different way than what the Lord was leading them. There are many reasons why people may not obey the word of the Lord but none of those reasons prove to be a fruitful decision.
So what if you are someone that hears from God and you know what the Lord FOR SURE has said, but there are people in the story that would also have to do what the Lord said for that word to come to pass? The truth is since our stories are so interconnected with other people, if you are prophetic at all you will come into places where others decide not to do what they should have done.
How do you deal with this?
You let them go and keep moving with the Lord because nothing and I mean nothing can stop what God has for you.
I see some that are staying stuck on a word that did not have a chance to get off the ground because others did not walk in that word the right way. And precious ladies are stuck there sometimes for decades not realizing that God is too good not to take them on from this point and bless their lives.
There is one thing that God needs in order to bless people with a new thing after the death of a prophetic word and that one thing is their permission for him to do so. Sometimes in order for God to receive that permission one must realize that there can be life beyond what they believed that they were hearing from the Lord.
The prophetic can be a bit weird yall. It can actually be pretty messy and complicated mainly because words are connected to people. who are sinful and messy.
But that doesn’t mean that we have to stay in dead words when God wants to take us on to a place of healing after the death of what was supposed to come to pass.
If you have something in your life that has caused you a lot of grief and you have held on because you thought that it was the will of the Lord, I want to challenge you today.
I want to challenge you to believe that there is more for you and that God can bring something together that is solid. I want you to believe beyond this prophetic word. I want you to pray about letting it go and giving it all over to the Lord while staying close to his heart and hand. It just might be that the place you are at will become a place of the birth of a new thing.
God is going to being a NEW THING into your life.
Do you agree with me?

If it’s a true desire of your heart that God gave and it’s pure and right and lovely, the prophetic word should not be let go of. But let me finish! lol… Even if others do not walk in it, God is working it out. God’s prophetic word does not die. I agree “right now” that God will bring new things and bring dead things to life too. I agree with making sense of messy things and moving on. I’m so glad I read this today. Sometimes over and over and over, you have to let things go to feel better, but if the prophetic word comes back; why? Do you believe that sometimes God won’t let you let go? Even after you really really let go? Even after waiting for long time?

I do believe there are things that God will bring to us over and over again. I relate to this so much because it has happened to me. Even if we run from something that God wants and even if something is not our will..he will cause things to happen that will change who we are in the inside and bring us to a place where we are willing to say yes. Also sometimes prophetic words are training ground in the prophetic. The warfare that surrounds a prophetic word will literally shape and mold us for that greater purpose and cause us to believe that we have lost out. During the process before fruition, we will experience many deaths. But many times its because we actually arent trained for that prophetic word and recieving our training in the midst of. NEXT Time, we may know how to do things better or maybe it was his will we go thru it.
