I was listening to a well known man of God who was trying his best to tell singles why they arent married and what they need to do.
One of the things he was telling the ladies is why would God bring a spouse if you cant keep your house clean, you have an attitude and you arent together.
The problem with this is there are so many who got married to their spouse and had nothing together. They were messy, they were dirty, they didnt know how to comunicate, they werent used to living with someone, etc. AND THEY STILL have these issues MARRIED and their spouse STILL loves them.
The body of Christ although it tries to help it has to be careful to start nurturing singles, not make them even more insecure.
If you think man I am not this and that and then you meet someone that you could love, you may be too insecure to reach out and allow love in. You may have all these insecurities that they wont love you well.
Instead what I would like singles to do is to realize they are enough even with flaws. Even if he comes and you dont have a dollar to your name, your room looks like a forest,and you still arent all together. HONEY you grab that mans hand and yall learn and struggle together.
Dont let a few things keep you from believing and having confidence that a man wants you.
Yes, work on yourself singles but dont create this thing in your head of a checkbox that you need to do and please dont think having a lot of issues is a reason why a man cant love you.
I dont care if you are depressed suicidal without money and you have 10 pimples on your face..if you meet someone you like I want you to spritz some bath and body works on and let that man know you like him.
GOd I pray for those that have been told the wrong things. God even messages sometimes make them feel as though they are the fault. God I pray that they would realize even without ALL THOSE THINGS that they are worth having love.
