Just because something really supernatural has happened doesnt mean its God. The devil lives in the supernatural as well and he usually gets spiritual people’s attention by appearing so supernatural that they are scared to disobey it because how could it not be God if it came in that form?
This is why its good to have people and MANY people with your same gift around you. This is why you need to consult those at a higher spiritual level than you and then YOU need to make your decision based on what you know about God and what he has taught you in the past concerning his voice on whether it is him or not.
You never want to miss God but I also know some people who dont have any knowledge in this area and they have stumbled on encounters bc of churches that had some extremely deadly spirits in operation.
