There are times where the battle that we have fought in the spirit realm really has been won. There are times that we just want to stay crouched down in a position of war- on our knees. But we know in our hearts that we could pray a million years and it will not change the outcome. God has already done what he will do. Now it’s time to get up knowing the victory is assured and begin to rest.
Rest is such a hard word for those of us who are warriors. We almost get used to war. Have you been there? The things in your life that you have been through have been so hard that you learned to pray. You learn to pull out your weaponry every single time and you got through. You have been so used to it that to believe that the war has been won and that you can simply rest now is hard.
You have gotten accustomed to the fight but now God wants you to get accustomed to a new type of life.
The war in this area has already ceased and now you get to experience the spoils of the war just like they did in 2 Chronicles 20. And you will never have to fight a battle like that again. Nor will God have to fight that battle for you again.
