Some people teach things that may be right for them, but for some of us it has proven false for our lives.
One is that God would never want you to do anything you didnt want to do.
To be honest, for my life God has had me do a lot of things I never wanted to do.
The simplest thing I can think of is the calling I have placed over my life. Thank you Jesus for it now, but I ran in fear for several years. I would not say yes because there was a risk that it would not work out.
God deserves our obedience no matter what it is and he can be trusted to ALWAYS work things out according to HIS Plan.
The problem is we dont want his plan, we want ours.
We dotn want to trust in him, we want to trust the strategies that people normally take to get to their desired destination.
But what I have learned over the years that when I obey God even when I am crying from pain, afriad, worried and everything else, that in the end it works out to be the best decision I ever made.
God does not want to hurt you permanenelty but he does want to prune you.
Many in our culture run away from pain (or God) in order to hopefully find better but then after decades of cycles of pain, they realize the pain it takes to come to him, obey him, and be made whole is way better than staying in the stagnant place the enemy wants you to be.
So follow him in that area that you dont want to follow him.
Dont get used to following him greatly in some areas and not surrendering in the hidden parts. Because sometimes those are the important ones.
God wants the best for you–just believe dear one!
