There was someone I used to know who pastored a large church in Louisiana before he died. He used to say, “Sometimes ya gotta get a no care attitude!” He talked about the fact that to be someone worthwhile you’ll get people talking.
Some people along your road will be intimidated by you and they should be. You are powerful in your own right.
They won’t understand the viewpoint you see things from because God hasn’t been talking to them about you. He’s chosen to keep those details for people who are important for your path or maybe he’s just chosen to share those details with you alone.
As you walk your path and you are true to what you know you should do in your heart, you will find people who don’t agree with you, they may even leave over the difference of opinion.
They may act like they no longer look at you the same now that you don’t fit their required perception of you. Let them leave and don’t look back. It is their choice.
I’m telling ya today. Ya gotta get a no care attitude! It doesn’t matter who talks against you. It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks about you.
Sometimes we have to have such a singular focus that it’s hard to see anything else. Our focus is so strong we won’t turn around for every single bird we hear chirping.
Just continue on the path you were made for..you’ll make it just fine!
